ZVR (Zahoor Village Restaurant)
About This Spot
Stepping into ZVR (Zahoor Village Restaurant), just a minute away from Quetta Airport, feels like discovering a gentle pause away from the city's bustle. Nestled near the Chiltan Housing Scheme, this spot offers a quiet refuge with a warm, inviting pace that unfolds naturally as you settle in. The air carries a mix of rich aromas, promising more than just a meal—it’s an unfolding story of local flavors and familiar comfort.
The atmosphere strikes a balance between relaxed and thoughtfully curated, where the hum of quiet conversation blends with the subtle warmth from the kitchen. Though the space keeps a peaceful, almost contemplative mood, it still breathes the lively spirit of genuine hospitality, inviting you to linger and savor moments without rush.
Here, the menu feels less like a list and more like a collection of culinary touchpoints that link you to the region’s heart. Whether it’s the slow-cooked mutton joint or the smoky notes dancing off the handi, each dish carries an essence of traditions adapted with care. Plates arrive with thoughtful attention—fresh, hearty, and designed to be shared, encouraging convivial conversations over familiar favorites like robust kabobs, comforting karahi, or the subtle tang of raita salads.
Many who come to ZVR mention the special feeling of warmth, especially during colder seasons, where the restaurant’s cozy embrace becomes a quiet haven. The blend of thoughtful pacing and welcoming staff shapes a space where enjoying a cup of tea feels just as significant as the food itself, rounding out the experience with a touch of everyday magic.
As a stop close to the airport, ZVR quietly invites travelers and locals alike to pause, refuel, and connect—with the land, the flavors, and the moments that transform a meal into a shared memory.

Great Place to eat but it's little bit costly as compared to it's competitors also food quantity is less than other restaurants. Overall good restaurant to try.

My recent visit to this place was a truly memorable experience… especially during the harsh winter months. The ambiance was warm and cozy, providing a perfect refuge from the chill. The food was outstanding and I had the pleasure of trying their signature dishes, including Rosh, Join, Malai boti and Handi - all of them were flavorful and expertly prepared What impressed me most was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly and ensured that our needs were met throughout our visit Overall, I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Quetta. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town, eager to sample more of their delicious offerings

I recently visited ZVR Restaurant and had a great experience overall. Their Zinger Burger and Kabuli Pulao were absolutely delicious, and the Mutton Karahi was also outstanding. However, the Reshmi Kabab felt undercooked and lacked masala, which could definitely be improved next time. The atmosphere was nice, but the sitting area needs some attention — the grassy area should be better maintained as it was muddy, and I also noticed that some plates were not properly cleaned. The waiting time for orders should ideally be within 30 minutes to make the experience smoother. On the positive side, the family area manager was very impressive. He was a retired army person, extremely well-spoken, disciplined, and made us feel very comfortable. Overall, a great dining experience with just a few improvements needed.
